BRANCHE D’OLIVE PRIVACY POLICY & COOKIE INFORMATION

For the purpose of applicable data protection law, including DPA 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679) BdO is the data controller.  This Privacy Policy sets out how Branche d’Olive (BdO) uses and protects personal information.   BdO may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

By accessing this site, certain information about the User, such as Internet protocol (IP) addresses, navigation through the site, the software used and the time spent, along with other similar information, will be stored on BdO servers. These will not specifically identify the User.

The information may be used internally for web site traffic analysis. If the User provides unique identifying information, such as name, address and other information on forms stored on this site, such information will be used only for ordering, delivery and statistical purposes and will not be published for general access.

Like other online store, we share bits of information about you with other companies, including credit/debit card validation and authorisation, webhosting, data analysis, order fulfilment and mailings.  We’ll only give third parties the information they need to perform their functions.  For courier deliveries, it is a requirement to display the billing address, entered in the order during checkout, on the exterior label. This may also be used as an alternative delivery address.

NB: We do not store any credit card details

What we do with the information we gather

• Provided we have volutarily received a subscription to our Newsletter, we will periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting.  All such emails will have the facility for customers to UNSUBSCRIBE at any time.

• Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. Under the DPA (Data Protection Act)1998, you may request details of any personal information held by us.  Please email sales@branche-dolive.com. If you believe any information held by us to be incorrect or incomplete, please email sales@branche-dolive.com – we will make amendments as soon as possible.  We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure and in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable electronic and managerial procedures as safeguards.

How we use cookies
